Basic Plumbing

Group #4 - December 7 - December 17, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 
Course Description:   This 63 hour course familiarizes students with the proper selection and use of the basic tools and materials of the plumbing and pipefitting trades, with an emphasis on safe work habits.  The following topics will be highlighted:  Identifying, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing valves; troubleshooting and repairing clogged drains; troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures and faucets; troubleshooting and repairing damaged and/or leaking pipes and pipe joints; and water heater repair and installation.  In addition, identifying and locating plumbing system components on commercial blueprints will be covered.
