Industrial Refrigeration Principles, Book I
Description: A RETA course designed for operating engineers, maintenance people and other individuals interested in learning the basic operation of large industrial refrigeration equipment and systems. It is intended as a complete introductory refrigeration course for engine room or process equipment workers. The following topical areas will be emphasized:

Plant Operator Fundamentals

Basic Refrigeration Cycle

Properties of Refrigerants

Components of Basic Refrigeration Systems

Basic Purging of Non-Condensables
The effective application of the techniques will be emphasized throughout the training. Hands-on lab time will be provided to re-enforce the fundamentals of the compression refrigeration cycle using halocarbon systems.
Automobile Emissions Inspection Recertification
Description: This four (4) hour course followed by a 25-question written exam is offered to all who need to renew their emissions inspector’s license. Our instructors are certified and have significant experience with the emissions program in Pennsylvania.
International Plumbing Code & International Gas Code Review
Description: This 27-hour course provides a guided tour through the 2006 International Plumbing Code and 2006 International Gas Code Review. Along the way, the student will develop an understanding of the most important principles of the code. This includes, but is not limited to, code approved methods for designing and sizing piping systems. The course is designed primarily to assist plumbers who are preparing to take a journeyperson or master plumbing exam and for tradespersons and design professionals interested in becoming more acquainted with the code and recent changes to the code. A general working knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and plumbing components is expected of all candidates enrolling in the course.
