Jones Dining Hall

Dining Services

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology has a spacious, comfortable dining hall that serves meals seven days a week. The dining hall is open while students are on campus, with modified hours of operation during various academic breaks.

Jones Dining Hall Hours

Monday – Friday

Breakfast:
6:45 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Lunch:
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Dinner:
4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Weekends/Holidays

Saturday/Sunday Brunch Buffet:
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Saturday Dinner:
4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Campus Grill and Orange Street Café

In addition to Jones Dining Hall, students also have the option to enjoy a meal or snack from one of two cafés. The Campus Grill is located on the first floor of the Schwalm Student Center on the main campus. The Orange Street Café is located adjacent to the main lobby of our Griscom Education Center location.

Academic Year Meal Plan

  • 5-day meal plan: $3,700
  • 7-day meal plan: $4,670

Summer Meal Plan

  • 5-day meal plan: $538
  • 7-day meal plan: $675

Price Per Meal

  • Breakfast: $4.50
  • Lunch: $8.75
  • Dinner: $9.00

Stevens Grant Students

Your grant includes a meal plan. If you are a resident student, you receive a 7-day meal plan. If you are a commuter student, you receive a 5-day meal plan (for use Monday through Friday). Stevens Grant recipients do not need to complete a Meal Plan Contract.

Non-Stevens Grant Resident Students

Per College policy, you will be assigned, at minimum, a 5-day meal plan for the cost of $1,850 per semester. You have the option to increase to a 7-day meal plan for an additional $485 by completing the Meal Plan Contract and returning it to Marjorie Hohrath in Accounts Receivable: staffbusinessoffice@stevenscollege.edu by August 1, 2024.

Non-Grant Commuter Students

You have the option to purchase a 5-day meal plan for $1,850 by completing the Meal Plan Contract and returning it to Marjorie Hohrath in Accounts Receivable: mlhohrath@stevenscollege.edu by August 1, 2024.

ID Card Funds If you are a non-Stevens Grant commuter student who does not want a 5-day meal plan or if you are a non-Stevens Grant resident student who does not want to upgrade to a 7-day meal plan for weekend meals, you may still purchase meals by depositing funds onto your student ID card. Meals will then be deducted at the following rates:

  • Breakfast: $4.50
  • Lunch: $8.75
  • Dinner: $9.00

ID card funds can be added by filling out the bottom portion of the Meal Plan Contract and returning it to Marjorie Hohrath in Accounts Receivable: mlhohrath@stevenscollege.edu.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are located at convenient locations around the campus. Items include beverages and snacks.
