Taking time now to learn how your tuition is structured, what fees are included, how and when to make payments, and what financial aid options are available can empower you to make informed decisions, avoid unexpected costs, and focus more on your studies.

Financial Responsibility

As a first-year student, one of the most important steps you can take toward managing your college experience is logging into your Self Service account and acknowledging your Financial Responsibility Statement.

This statement outlines your obligations regarding tuition, fees, and other charges, and confirms your understanding that you are financially responsible for your education.

By accepting it, you’re not just checking a box—you’re taking ownership of your academic journey and ensuring transparency in how your college finances are handled. It’s a vital part of staying informed, avoiding unexpected holds or penalties, and keeping your path to graduation smooth and stress-free.

Financial responsibility statements will be available for incoming students to acknowledge and accept after January 1, 2026.
