Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is proud to celebrate a landmark achievement by our 2025 Men’s and Women’s Track & Field team. For the first time in school history, the team has been named the 2025 NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Team of the Year – a prestigious national honor recognizing both athletic excellence and academic dedication.
With a cumulative team GPA of 3.5, the Bulldogs exemplified what it means to be in high demand on the track and in the classroom. Their focus, grit, and discipline led them to a strong sixth-place finish at the NJCAA DIII Outdoor Championships, earning 47 points against top two-year colleges nationwide.
Academic Honors: 12 Bulldogs Named to NJCAA All-Academic Team
In addition to this historic team recognition, 12 individual student-athletes from the 2024–2025 Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams earned NJCAA All-Academic Awards, a record for the College.
These awards recognize student-athletes who achieved an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher during the academic year:

- First Team: 4.00 GPA
- Second Team: 3.80 to 3.99 GPA
- Third Team: 3.60 to 3.79 GPA

Women’s Team Earns Academic Honors from USTFCCCA
Adding to this historic moment, three student-athletes from the Women’s Track & Field team were recognized as All-Academic Athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This prestigious national honor highlights their commitment to academic excellence alongside athletic achievement.
