Student-athletes from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Utica, New York, earning national championships, All-American honors, All-Region 19 recognition, and two National Athlete of the Year honors.
The Bulldogs men’s team finished fourth in the nation among 22 competing teams, continuing the strong tradition of excellence within #TSCT Athletics. The women’s team, represented by three student-athletes, also posted an impressive national showing with a 10th-place finish overall.
National Champions and National Athletes of the Year
First-year student Tristan Weaver led the way for the Bulldogs with national championships in both the 1,500-meter run and the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Weaver also earned All-Region recognition seventh-place finish in the 800-meter and a fourth-place finish in the 5,000-meter events. Following his standout national performance, Weaver was named the NJCAA Division III Men’s Track Athlete of the Year.
Tyliyah Diaz-Cruz also delivered a dominant performance at nationals, earning national championships in both the 800-meter and 1,500-meter runs while also securing a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter race. Diaz-Cruz earned All-American honors in all three events.
Multiple National Titles for the Bulldogs
Robert Salazar-Rosell added two more national championships for Thaddeus Stevens College, winning both the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. He also earned All-American honors in the high jump with a third-place national finish and placed fifth nationally in the long jump.

- Dominic Iacone — 400-meter run (13th place)
- Tae’vian Richardson — Triple jump (4th place); High jump (7th place)
- Andy Hallman — Pole vault (13th place)
- Zack Anthony — Shot put (8th place)
- Colin Rilatt — Discus (4th place)
- Nicholas Bradigan — Discus (6th place); Hammer throw (6th place)
- Kolin Long — 3,000-meter steeplechase (7th place)
- Landon Snider — Decathlon (7th place)
- Kathryn McCrosson — Javelin (6th place); Hammer throw (11th place)
- Janet Oliseh — 100-meter dash (11th place)
The Bulldogs also earned national placements in relay competition. The 4×800-meter relay team of Kolin Long, Carter Bruckhart, Wyatt Tomison, and Tristan Weaver finished fourth in the nation. The 4×400-meter relay team of Isaiah Long, Robert Salazar-Rosell, Carter Bruckhart, and Dominic Iacone placed fifth, and the 4×100-meter relay team of Isaiah Long, Dominic Iacone, Davion Wagstaff, and Robert Salazar-Rosell finished eighth.
