Advance your welding skills with hands-on TIG welding training at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

About the Workforce Center
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology’s Workforce and Economic Development Center offers short-term programs that prepare individuals for in-demand job opportunities. These programs are ideal for individuals looking for a career change, need skills for employment, or are looking to increase their skills to advance in their current job. Our instructors are experienced in their field and provide a unique, hands-on curriculum. These programs can range from six-month training to single-day seminars, with trainings including weekly over a period of time or intensives for six weeks. Several of the Center’s six-month programs are hosted in partnership with Tec Centro and the Spanish American Civic Association.

Automotive Certifications
Every car on the road needs an annual inspection and emissions inspection. The work will always be steady. You can receive your certification to complete these inspections through the Workforce Center.

Business Leadership and IT
Leadership today involves more than strong communication skills and vision building. Trainings at the Workforce Center can help build supervisory, human resources, and interpersonal skills.

Construction Trainings
In six months or less, students can gain skills in plumbing, HVAC, facility maintenance, and power industrial vehicles.

Manufacturing Trainings
The manufacturing world continues to evolve, and the Workforce Center offers cutting-edge training to provide work-ready skills. Check out our CNC programming, HAAS certification, electrical maintenance, programmable logic controllers, and facility maintenance trainings and more to discover all the ways you can move forward.

Welding and Metals Fabrication
Welders are in high demand, and you can learn more to step into a career with strong wages in our production welding, metals fabrication and welding, and other welding training.
