Transfer Information

TRANSFER CREDIT INFORMATION

Any student who desires to transfer credits to Stevens must have taken the classes at an institution that is accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency, and must have received a grade of C or higher. Students may only transfer General Education classes. All classes that are non General Education classes must be taken at Stevens. Once a student has completed one semester with a minimum GPA of 2.00 or better, transferred classes will be place on the student permanent record. Transferred classes are recorded with a "T" (transfer credit) in place of merit grade. These classes do not factor in the students GPA. Students should have an official transcript from the institution(s) where courses were taken, mailed to the Registrar's Office. The Registrar's Office will evaluate all course descriptions. The Registrar reserves the right to request syllabus and/or additional information in determining course transferability. The Registrar's Office will notify students as well as their advisor as to which classes meet the requirements of transferring. **Students that enter the college in an Apprenticeship Program are required to take all of their General Education Courses at the College.
