Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology’s Cross Country teams delivered an outstanding performance as the College proudly hosted the Region XIX Championships on Sunday, October 26. The Bulldogs made a powerful showing on their home course, with the Men’s Team capturing first place overall and several student-athletes earning top individual finishes.
Leading the way, first-year student Tristan Weaver claimed first in the Men’s 8K with an impressive time of 26:18. Teammates Wyatt Tomison and Cadel Barber followed close behind, taking second (29:06) and fourth (29:44) place finishes. Kolin Long and Logan Gebhard, both first-year students, also placed in the top group, earning 10th (30:53) and 11th (31:02), respectively, and helping to secure the Bulldogs’ dominant team victory.
On the women’s side, Tyliyah Diaz-Cruz earned a second-place finish in the 5K event with a strong 20:30 performance, adding another impressive result to an already successful season for the Bulldog runners.
It was a beautiful fall day for competition and a celebration of the perseverance, teamwork, and Bulldog pride that define Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
