Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is partnering with the Community Action Partnership (CAP) to shape the future of the new Steinman Community Learning Center, currently under construction beside the Greiner Advanced Manufacturing Center.
The Learning Center will include a childcare facility operated by CAP, providing accessible, high-quality childcare for students, faculty, staff, and community members. This initiative reflects the College’s mission to remove barriers to education and help families thrive by supporting both learning and life beyond the classroom.
As planning continues, the College and CAP are seeking input from the community to help ensure the childcare center meets local needs. Feedback gathered will guide program development and operations to best serve working families and the surrounding neighborhood.
Community members are invited to share their perspectives by completing a brief survey by November 28, 2025: Take the Survey
This collaboration represents the next step in Thaddeus Stevens College’s commitment to building a stronger, more connected community—one that supports opportunity, family, and future generations.
