Bulldogs Dominate at SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Competition  

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology students delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Leadership and Skills Conference, with competitors earning top honors across a wide range of technical categories, and a remarkable number of first-place finishes advancing to the national stage. 

This year, 25 students represented the College across 19 competition categories spanning 10 academic programs. From precision machining and welding to graphic communications, web design, and computer programming, our Bulldogs showcased the depth and quality of the technical education they receive every day at #TSCT. 

First-Place State Champions 

The following students earned gold at the state level and will advance to represent Thaddeus Stevens College at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference:

The breadth of programs represented, from the six-month Electrical Construction program to Computer Software Engineering Technology, Collision Repair, and Advanced Welding Fabrication Technology, reflects the range of career pathways available at Thaddeus Stevens College and the caliber of students across every one of them. 

SkillsUSA competitions test students on precise technical skills, professionalism, and problem-solving ability that employers demand. Earning a gold medal at the state level is a significant achievement, and a clear signal that these students are not just ready for their careers, they are ready to lead in them.
