Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology honored its student-athletes on Tuesday evening as the campus community gathered for the 2026 Athletic Awards Banquet at Mellor Auditorium. The evening celebrated the dedication, teamwork, and Bulldog spirit that defined another memorable year of athletics at the College.
President Pedro A. Rivera II, Ed.D. offered a welcome address, and Athletic Director and Vice President of Student Services Dr. Metzler presided over the evening’s recognition program, honoring standout performers from all five of the College’s varsity sports.

The evening’s highest honors were presented by Coach Matthew Robinson:
- John C. Stauffer Award — Colin Rilatt, presented to the sophomore who contributed the most to athletics at Thaddeus Stevens College.
- Richard V. Bevilacqua Award — Tyliyah Diaz-Cruz, presented to the most outstanding sophomore athlete, recognizing excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Tyliyah Diaz-Cruz’s recognition in both Track & Field and Cross Country, along with earning the evening’s top individual honor, made her one of the standout stories of the night.

The Athletic Awards Banquet is a reminder that the student-athlete experience at Thaddeus Stevens College is about far more than wins and losses. It is about the discipline, and commitment to excellence that these students carry with them from the field of competition into their careers and communities.
